Highlands Cashiers Players Holiday Program 2106

It definitely is “beginning to look a lot like Christmas” and the Highlands Cashiers Players are welcoming the season with their traditional Holiday Program of music and drama on Thursday evening, December 15, 7:00 p.m. at Highlands Performing Arts Center, an additional sponsor of the event.
The 40-voice regional chorus, “Mountain Voices,” who performed last year for the Players’ Holiday Program, have been invited to return by popular acclaim and will present several holiday songs, both sacred and popular, from their annual Christmas program.
It wouldn’t be an HCP event if something theatrical was not involved, so this year actors will present a dramatized reading of “The Loudest Voice,” a humorous and touching Christmas story about a young girl who is chosen to narrate the school’s Christmas pageant and achieves a tremendous success in spite of her family’s initial objections to her participation.
Afterwards, the audience will be invited to enjoy refreshments downstairs in PAC’s reception room. This is the 20th year of the Highlands Cashiers Players holiday presentation which is free to all, a Christmas gift to the community from the Players and Highlands Performing Arts Center.
