Broadway hit comedy
This joyful, laugh-out-loud comedy opened on Broadway in 1986 and has been a favorite with theater audiences ever since. Sophisticated art dealers Barbara and her husband David find their domestic tranquility shattered when Barbara’s sister deposits their eccentric archetypal Jewish mother on their doorstep.  The comic sparks really begin to fly when the mother--old enough for Social Security, but never too old for romance--hits it off with an elderly artist who is the art dealers’ best client.
