HCP CANCELS OCTOBER PLAY
PERFORMANCES
The
Highlands Cashiers Players
Board of Directors has
announced the cancellation
of its October
play, “Jake.”
Citing
production problems, HCP
President Barbara Werder
said
HCP would rather delay the
presentation of the new play
by Matt Eberz rather than
mount a show that did not live up
to the HCP standard of “Good
Plays Well Done.”
“We know
there has been great
interest in “Jake” and we
regret that circumstances
prevent us from doing the
play at this time,” Werder
said.
Season ticket holders
will be able to use the June
production of ‘The Last
Romance’ by Joe DiPietro as
part of their subscription.
Details will be sent to
season subscribers at a
later date.
